How to travel to Oporto

Served by an award winning international airport, with direct transatlantic as well as comprehensive European connections, Oporto is easily accessible by air.

A frequent and comfortable high speed rail service connects Oporto with Lisbon, just over three hundred kilometers to the south. Trains stop at Devesas station in Vila Nova de Gaia, a five minute drive from The Yeatman, before continuing to the terminus at Oporto Campanhã. The city's metro system serves both the main railway stations and the airport.

Oporto is the hub of an extensive motorway network allowing rapid and easy access to other main Portuguese cities, including Lisbon. It also connects Oporto with some of northern and central Portugal's most beautiful regions and also to Galicia in north western Spain.
