The Yeatman wine cellar boasts more than 1,000 wines from around the world.

Wine Tasting

Regular tastings are an important feature of The Yeatman's rich and varied program of wine events and activities.

These range from educational seminars intended to introduce participants to the basics of wine style to in depth thematic tastings focusing on a particular region or producer.

Tastings are led by The Yeatman's own wine specialists and by distinguished wine makers and personalities from Portugal and around the world; including The Yeatman's partner producers. Given the hotel's proximity to the ‘lodges' of the most famous Port houses, Port plays a prominent part in this program.

In addition to The Yeatman's regular schedule, private tastings and seminars hosted by The Yeatman's wine team can be organized by prior arrangement.

The Yeatman is also able to provide tailored training programs for wine and hospitality industry students, trainees and professionals.
