Created by Chef Ricardo Costa, this experience pays tribute to theritual in which tea takes centre stage, originating in Great Britain inthe early 1840s with the seventh Duchess of Bedford, Anna Russell. A refinedselection of teas and a delicate arrangement of bite-size sandwiches and sweetswill be served, together with warm scones and homemade jam, accompanied by anelegant glass of sparkling wine. A homage to the British ritual that celebratesthe pleasures of relaxation and conviviality.

A tourist tax of €2.50 per night per guest will be applied at check-out. 

Reservations of more than 9 rooms may be subject to special conditions and additional costs. 



Children

Superior Deluxe: Maximum of one child (one extra bed or cot) per room 

Suite Deluxe: Maximum of two children (two extra beds or two cots) per room 

For children aged 5 to 12 inclusive, a supplement of €20 per night will be charged. 

Children’s supplements include the services listed in the experience but are not automatically calculated at the time of booking – they will be reserved and added to your invoice at check-out upon prior indication.

Kids Club service (unsupervised) and babysitting available subject to availability and prior booking.


Cancellation Policies

Cancellation policy for January, February, and December 2026/27:
Credit card presentation required. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise before arrival. 
Cancellations and changes are free until 6:00 pm (Lisbon time) two days before arrival. 
Non-refundable prepayment of the first night will be charged within two days prior to arrival. 

Cancellation policy for March and November 2026/27:
Credit card presentation required. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise before arrival. 
Cancellations and changes are free until 6:00 pm (Lisbon time) fourteen days before arrival. 
Non-refundable prepayment of the first night will be charged within fourteen days prior to arrival. 

Cancellation policy for April to October 2026/27:

Cancellations and changes are free until 6:00 pm (Lisbon time) twenty days before arrival. 
Non-refundable prepayment of the first night will be charged within twenty days prior to arrival.
