It has 38 hectares of vineyards and a small winery which dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century. Its unique "terroir”, micro-climate and traditional Alentejo grape varieties - Alicante Bouschet, in particular - are key factors for the high quality and distinguishing characteristics of the wines produced.
The family believes in preserving the old winemaking traditions in order to maintain and enhance Mouchão’s reputation for quality and individuality.
