For the second consecutive year, The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant has been named one of 97 establishments worldwide to receive the Grand Award from the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator, as announced in the 2025 Restaurant Awards.
Previously honoured with the Best of Award of Excellence from 2012 to 2023, The Yeatman received the Grand Award for the first time in 2024.
The Grand Award is the highest distinction granted by Wine Spectator, which recognises the excellence of The Yeatman’s wine programme, wine list, restaurant, and level of service.
To date, no other establishment in Portugal has received this distinction and two have been awarded in Spain. Other countries to have establishments honoured with this accolade include the USA, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Monaco, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.
This prestigious award places The Yeatman’s Gastronomic Restaurant and Hotel among the world’s finest, in view of its wine list and the commitment and dedication of the entire Restaurant team to provide an exceptional experience for its guests.
With Wine Spectator’s audience estimated at over 2.5 million readers worldwide, Portugal joins the exclusive group of restaurants and establishments showcasing the best in the world of wine, namely Portuguese wine, to all those who share this great passion.
