Located in Estremadura, in the Alenquer region, Quinta do Monte d'Oiro (with 17.5 hectares of vineyard) has been known since the 19th century as a privileged location for the production of great wines.
The owner and producer is José Bento dos Santos whose objective is the development of high quality "European style” wines that respect the qualities of the existing "terroir” (the unique and unrepeatable combination of soil and climate).
Wines from Quinta do Monte d’Oiro have a strong link with gastronomy. These are wines with an identity of their own: deep, mineral, dense, personalised and with a profile eminently suited to harmoniously accompany carefully prepared dishes, whether it be genuine regional cuisine, classic cuisine or haute cuisine.
