With two Michelin stars - and led by Chef Ricardo Costa since 2010 - the Gastronomic Restaurant promises to take you on a sensory journey through a memorable tasting menu, created by the Chef and updated annually, which creates the perfect symbiosis between contemporary Portuguese cuisine and wine, expertly paired by The Yeatman’s Wine Director, Elisabete Fernandes.
Open since 2010, the year of The Yeatman Hotel’s inauguration, the Gastronomic Restaurant began, from the outset, to make its mark in the world of fine dining for its positioning and purpose: to offer guests the chance to journey through Portugal’s diverse wine regions through unique dishes, created by a Chef with a deep passion for Portuguese cuisine, which offers the contemporary flair and innovative techniques that this two-Michelin-starred restaurant has been offering since 2017.
Every visit offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The grand dining room sets the scene for the experience to come with a superb and unrivalled view of Porto. In the kitchen, everything is prepared with calm, meticulous care, under the watchful eye of Chef Ricardo Costa and with attention to detail.

Inspired by classics, childhood memories and Chef Ricardo Costa’s travels, the Origins Menu invites you to enjoy a contemporary dining experience characterised by creativity, identity and emotion.
Designed to offer a more fluid and immersive tasting experience, the Menu is divided into the Origins Menu - Chapter I and the Origins Menu - Chapter II, with additional tasting courses that provide a longer lasting experience.
Origins Menu - Chapter I €260 per person | Origins Menu - Chapter II €300 per person |
At the Gastronomic Restaurant, the menu is updated annually, and the tasting menu is regularly updated in line with the seasonality of the produce, so it is subject to change at any time.
