With Chef Ricardo Costa at the helm since 2010, the two Michelin star Gastronomic Restaurant promises to take you on a sensory journey with a memorable tasting menu, created by the Chef and renewed annually, creating the perfect symbiosis between contemporary Portuguese gastronomy and excellent Portuguese wines - paired to perfection by The Yeatman’s Wine Director, Elisabete Fernandes.

Open since 2010, the year The Yeatman Hotel opened, The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant began to make headlines in the world of fine dining, early on. Well known for its positioning and objectives, The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant offers customers the opportunity to travel through Portugal’s varied wine regions, whilst tasting unique dishes created by a Chef who strongly believes in Portugal’s cuisine. Dishes are presented with contemporary flair and innovative techniques in this special restaurant distinguished with two Michelin stars since 2017.

There are three optional supplements to accompany your experience:

Chef Ricardo Costa's Tasting Menu is regularly updated and might therefore be changed at any time.

Each visit promises a unique and unforgettable experience. The grandiose dining room prepares each client for the experience to follow with a superb and unrivalled view overlooking Porto.
In The Gastronomic Restaurant’s kitchen, everything is prepared with total calm, attention to detail and meticulous revision by Chef Ricardo Costa, with the command and ease that a Michelin-starred restaurant guarantees to ensure a memorable experience for its guests.

A dual or four-handed enogastronomic experience

The experience is truly orchestrated by two people - on the one hand, thanks to Chef Ricardo Costa’s expert and imaginative cuisine, with its menu full of traditional Portuguese flavours combining heritage and contemporary flair, and where fish from Portugal’s coast and other fresh, local produce are more than deserving of their place on the Menu.
On the other hand, where the dishes are complemented by the excellent and comprehensive choice of Portuguese wines and a selection of international wines, fruit of the immense know-how of the Hotel and Restaurant’s Wine Director since 2021, Elisabete Fernandes, who has been part of The Yeatman Hotel’s wine team since opening and whose knowledge and passion are evident from the complexity of the wine list, ensuring a harmonious pairing and an overall exquisite experience.

A Menu renewed each year

Every year, Chef Ricardo Costa works on a new Menu for The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant, awarded with its first Michelin Star in 2011 and its second in 2017 and renewed annually since then - where you can enjoy the tasting menu entitled "An Evolution of Aromas".

International Recognition

It is notable that in addition to the two Michelin Stars, The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant, under the leadership of Chef Ricardo Costa, has been recognised with various awards and distinctions:
Boa Cama Boa Mesa, Golden Fork - 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and Boa Cama Boa Mesa Platinum Fork – 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2012 or Best Restaurant and Condé Nast Johansens, Best Dining Experience Europe & Mediterranean – 2015, among others.
